CONFIRMED: joined Accrington Stanley on a season-long loan, announced by Aston Villa on September 1st 2026 -- a step on from Jacob Tanswell's report on X earlier that day that the League Two club were close to finalising after interest from several EFL sides. Villa regard the 19-year-old Scotland youth international as part of the club's future and a return to League Two as the right next step; he spent the second half of 2025-26 on loan at Swindon Town. First-team matchday squads in 2025-26. Scored in the 5-0 pre-season friendly win at Walsall on July 21st and started for the Villa XI at Shrewsbury on August 1st in the 3-2 defeat.
